Look, I know I said I was going to blog more. I’ve been meaning to, honest. I just got a bit distracted. You know what it’s like. And, come on, it’s only been… two months!!!???
To tell the truth, I have been hard at it. Recording, that is. In my recording studio. With Sofi. Working on some demos to get her some gigs. Yeah okay, I’ve been away on holiday too. The Northumberland Coast. It’s nice – you should go.
I’m actually quite pleased with one or two of the tracks. Which, out of six songs, is not bad. 33%. Not a pass mark at the old GCE O’level though… but probably a pass at today’s standards. But I digress, as per usual.
Rather than post any of these tracks here – even though they feature my singing, playing and arranging talents – I’ll be posting on the other two blogs I occasionally write: Sofi Nieto and Kings of Inertia. I intend to keep this blog for my own originals… whenever I get round to recording them.
So, if you’d like to listen to Sofi and I doing a duet on Paolo Nutini‘s Ten out of Ten, follow this link: Sofi Nieto – Ten out of Ten. If, on the other hand, you’d like to hear me do a reggae version of Black Sabbath‘s Paranoid (it turned out to be surprisingly jolly) follow this link: Kings of Inertia – Paranoid. Go on, they’re quite good!
